As part of the Healthy Families program, 40 households from the communities of San Agustín, Agua Agria, and El Porvenir in Choluteca began implementing family gardens aimed at strengthening food security and increasing household food production. The initiative includes training and technical assistance on topics such as soil preparation, crop management, and the use of organic fertilizers, promoting sustainable practices for the production of healthy foods. Through these gardens, families will be able to grow vegetables adapted to local conditions, contributing to improved nutrition and strengthening their capacity for self-care and family well-being.

The Agrolíbano Foundation welcomed a visit from Lutheran World Relief (LWR), who learned firsthand about the Foundation's programs and the organized work carried out by communities in our area of ​​influence in southern Honduras. The visit was accompanied by Pamela Molina, Director of Sustainability for the Agrolíbano Group, who shared the company's sustainability strategy and the comprehensive development model that the Foundation promotes in partnership with the communities. We hope this meeting marks the beginning of a lasting alliance with LWR, aimed at strengthening the well-being of thousands of families in southern Honduras.
